Warranty

Every Odyssey system is engineered to deliver reliable performance and built to last. This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage provided with your purchase, the conditions under which it applies, and the responsibilities of both Odyssey Plunge and the customer.

This warranty applies in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

This warranty applies to products purchased on or after the effective date stated above. Products purchased prior to this date are covered under the warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

This warranty covers Odyssey ice baths and chillers used in residential, commercial, and professional environments.

During the warranty period, Odyssey Plunge will, at its discretion:

  • Repair or replace defective components resulting from faults in materials or workmanship
  • Supply replacement parts free of charge where a manufacturing defect is confirmed

Warranty period: 12 months from the date of delivery (unless agreed otherwise in writing).

Replacement parts supplied under warranty are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

2. OPERATING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT (IMPORTANT)

Odyssey chillers are designed to operate within a defined ambient temperature range.

Recommended ambient operating range: +5°C to +35°C

Operation outside this range may result in reduced performance, delayed start-up, temporary suspension of certain functions, or protective shutdown of internal components. Performance outside the specified operating range is not guaranteed and does not constitute a fault.

Cold Weather & Winter Operation

In low ambient temperatures, the system may automatically limit or suspend certain operations (including circulation, heating, or cooling) to protect pumps, compressors, heaters, and electronic components. This behaviour is normal protective operation and should not be interpreted as a defect or system failure.

Outdoor Installations

Where the system is installed outdoors or in unheated environments, the customer is responsible for ensuring protection from direct rain, wind, and frost; adequate ventilation; installation above ground level; prevention of sustained exposure to freezing or near-freezing conditions; and appropriate housing or enclosure where required.

Failure to provide suitable environmental protection may result in reduced performance or protective shutdown and is not covered under warranty.

3. WHAT'S NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover damage or performance issues caused by freezing conditions; ambient temperatures outside the specified operating range; poor water quality or incorrect water chemistry; incorrect installation or inadequate environmental protection; power surges, power failures, or unstable electrical supply; reduced performance or system shutdown resulting from cold weather or environmental conditions; normal protective system behaviour; or performance issues arising from unusually high or continuous usage beyond typical residential patterns unless specified in writing.

Consumable items including filters, UV lamps, ozone generators, seals, and gaskets are not covered. Cosmetic wear, natural timber variation, use of non-approved parts, unauthorised repairs, misuse, neglect, or operation outside published specifications are also excluded.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain warranty validity, the customer must carry out routine maintenance, use only official Odyssey Plunge replacement filters and approved components, care for surfaces appropriately, and ensure the unit is installed and operated in accordance with all installation and operating guidelines. Odyssey Plunge is not responsible for verifying site suitability or environmental conditions prior to installation unless explicitly agreed in writing.

5. FILTER MAINTENANCE & WARRANTY VALIDITY

To maintain warranty coverage:

  • A minimum of one official Odyssey Plunge replacement filter must be installed every 2 months (domestic/residential use only).
  • For commercial or high-usage environments, filter replacement may be required more frequently than the domestic schedule, depending on bather load, operating hours, and water quality.
  • Use of non-approved filters or failure to replace filters within the required timeframe may void the warranty.
  • Filter purchase history may be reviewed when assessing warranty claims.

6. OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

If you require support, contact Odyssey Plunge via email and provide proof of purchase, product details, and a clear description of the issue. Many issues can be resolved remotely via phone or email. Where applicable, Odyssey Plunge may request permission to perform remote diagnostics or software checks to assist with fault identification.

7. ENGINEER VISITS & CALL-OUT FEES

If an on-site engineer visit is required, a call-out fee of £350 + VAT applies. This fee will be refunded only if a manufacturing defect is confirmed. If no defect is found and the issue is related to installation, environment, operating conditions, or maintenance, the call-out fee remains chargeable. Additional travel costs may apply for rural or remote locations.

8. REPLACEMENTS, RETURNS & SHIPPING

Odyssey Plunge reserves the right to repair or replace faulty components at its discretion. If a tub must be returned for inspection or repair, the customer is responsible for disconnection, packaging, and shipping costs. Any replacement tub provided will be of equal value and specification to the original model.

9. LIMITATION OF WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty replaces all other warranties or guarantees, express or implied, except where additional rights are provided by law. This warranty provides specific legal rights, which may vary depending on jurisdiction.

10. FINAL NOTE

Odyssey Plunge systems are high-performance wellness products designed to operate within defined environmental and operating conditions. Proper installation, maintenance, and environmental protection are essential to ensure reliable performance and long-term enjoyment.
