How it works
Ozone does the heavy lifting as water circulates. It's a strong oxidiser that kills bacteria on contact. eco3spa sits in the water itself as a light residual, so for the split second ozone hasn't reached, it's still protected. That's what “residual sanitiser” means: a safety net, not the main event.
Recommended maintenance routine
At fill-up
Every ~3 months, run Step 1 Cleaner through the plumbing, drain, and refill. On the fresh fill add Step 2 Conditioner (60ml per 300L) and Step 3 Sanitiser Granules (5g per 300L).
Before each session
If the tub's been idle over 24 hours, add a top-up dose of Step 3 Sanitiser Granules.
Weekly
Dip a Test Strip and compare against the “OK” band. If it reads low, add a half-dose of Step 3 and retest after 30 minutes.
Monthly
Re-dose Step 2 Conditioner (60ml per 300L) to keep the water soft and the sanitiser working efficiently.
As needed
Water Clarifier if the water goes cloudy or greens up. Revive Filter Cleaner if flow drops or the filter cartridge looks dirty.
